Awhile back I had to get a biopsy done and it was a scary experience. So many thoughts ran through my head while impatiently waiting for my results. Thankfully it was benign. A few weeks later I found out that my aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer. That was a real shock to me because there is no family history of it. It really broke my heart to hear that. I may not know exactly how it feels to be in her position, but having gone through waiting for biopsy results is something that I will never forget. I still worry about to this day. You just never know because it can happen to anyone even without a family history. Because of this, I would like to sell my handmade plushes (no sewing machine involved) and donate 25% of the proceeds to Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the rest will cover shipping & handling, and the left over will be saved for my art fund. The plushes are made from craft felt fabric. There's Westy (gray bear, loves to travel) and Scout (brown bear, loves to explore) who were characters I created in 2009, and Penny (the coolest and sweetest golden retriever that I know) in 2015.
